I was doing the Math today...Important dates to remember...
Feb 15th- Ultrasound to confirm pregnancy :-)
March 9th (ish) 2nd ultrasound to get a puppy count.
March 24th-- Due Date of puppies!!!
May 19th- Puppies go home with you!
Can you tell my excitement???

ReplyDeleteFrom past experience with Foosa, does a female dog that is pregnant (pre-ultrasound confirmation) begin to behave differently than they normally would?

DeleteThey can depending on the dog. With Foosa and now Piper I have noticed they act so differently from normal, during the heat cycle and a couple months after, that I would not notice even more wierd behavior when they are pregnant :-)
As for an increased appetite, HA, that is a normal occurrence.
One thing I have noticed is in past heat cycles the bleeding becomes more and more opaque untill it disappears usually around day # 24. When they are pregnant the discharge becomes thick and stops earlier than usual. Piper's has become thick already... I am taking that as a positive sign. :-)
