4th week progress

As we are entering the 4th week of pregnancy the spinal cord and other internal organs are continuing to develop as well as they eyes.  A heart beat can become detectable with ultrasound around day 22.  Faces are taking shape.  By day 28 the embryo should measure 1.4- 1.8 cm in length.    2 days until our ultrasound!!!!!

    So exciting!!!!!! Is it Wednesday yet??????? :). I have a quick question for you. How many puppies are typically expected from a first litter?

      8 is the average size for a RR litter. -Angie

    Will tomorrow never get here? Angie, would you please post as soon as you know something! Or maybe even call all of us..........like you have nothing better to do. LOL. Can't wait to hear.

      HAHAHA, I will not call, tomorrow is Surgery day at our work, so it will be busy, and I work untill 6 p.m. but I will post as soon as I know and am able to.... -Angie
