Here is the registered AKC name of Hudzon.  He has many, many titles as you can see  and a lure coursing ability to match Piper!  His father is a Best in Show winning dog and his mother is a Dual champion herself.  Hudzon also has a dual champion daughter and  Dual champion, and Field Champion siblings.   So beauty and brains combined.  :-)

Here is a link to Hudzon's photo Gallery with his pictures and Ad's as well as one of his daughter, mother, and brother.  As you can see Hudzon has the nice , blocky head we like at Tifari with the wekk defined stop and very elegant
Conformation.

A few words on Hudzon written by his mom, Sally:
He is a sweet boy. Totally laid back around the house and a joy to live with. As mellow as he is at home, he is all heart and drive on the field or in the ring. When my sister bred her girl Myka, Walker Rhodesian Ridgebacks’ foundation bitch, she did it with goals similar to yours: improving the breed and producing great family dogs. We continue to focus on producing healthy, well-tempered dogs that are bred for both form and function and above all are well adjusted family members.

As a pup he was equally as behaved at home. It only took a nice walk, run in the woods or playtime with a couple of his brothers to satisfy him. Now we don’t have to get out every day, although we try our best. He is perfectly happy being a couch potato. Some of his favorite positions are lying across my lap on the sofa or snuggling up to my 4 year old nephew and 2 year old niece. He loves kids. At my previous home we had the chance to visit school bus stops to say hi many mornings. One of the drivers allowed Hudzon to get on the school bus, walk down the aisle all by himself and say hi to the bus full of kids, then she’d give him a cookie and he’d get back off. It was a hoot, the kids LOVED it and Hud was always so proud.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

LURE COURSING
Top Ranked in Lure Coursing 4 years. We ran a bunch in 2007 but only half the year the rest of the time with limited running in 2009. This past year we were working on tracking, obedience and agility so didn’t course much.

TRACKING
Hudzon is the 5th Ridgeback to ever earn a Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) title and the 2nd DC to do so. Interestingly two RRs got their TDX in the late 80’s and one in 1992 and it has been 19 years since. Now Hud and one other dog did it in 2011. Earning our TDX also qualifies Hudzon for his RRCUS *VCX!!

AGILITY
We just started trialing and have 2 legs towards his Novice Jumpers title. We missed a Q in standard by 1 second. He has really taken to agility. It’s fun to show up at a trial with 990 entries and be one of only two or three RRs entered. People get a kick out of watching him run.

OBEDIENCE
We have a Rally Novice title and are working on our CD.
