Day 21!!

The pups are officially 3 weeks old today.  They are so chubby I love it.  Today they had their first official "Gruel meal"  This is the beginning of their weaning.  I Grind up Holistic Selects Large Breed dog food in the blender as fine as possible.  Then I mix it with warm water and the Esbilac, Puppy Milk powder.  I wait a couple minutes for the kibble to soften and then brought it up tot he pup.  WELL, there are going to be no problems weaning these little piglets.  They took to it immediately.  4 of them rushed over and started eating with no coaxing.  Even little Tater tot started licking it off my fingers immediately.  I have included some pictures below for you entertainment.  Also, They will now have a water dish in their box to learn to drink from.  It is very shallow and wide.  (pyrex)  One week untill they move intot he X pen down in the family room. 

 

This was too precious, had to add it.
